Operation School Bell®

This program provides new common dress clothing and hygiene items as requested by in-need schools to children in the Santa Rosa and Roseland School Districts.  They all leave with a huge bag of new clothes, wide grins and a renewed sense of confidence.

Sights and Sounds

Sights and Sounds provides free screening to preschool children in Sonoma County to detect vision and hearing problems.

Booster Bags

Booster Bags boosts the spirits of women and children in crisis by providing backpacks/bags containing food, toiletries and clothing.  The program distributes backpacks/bags to YWCA Women’s Emergency Shelter and The Living Room, SAY (Social Advocates for Youth) as well as gift certificates to our Assistance League Thrift Shop and bus tickets.

Wee Wardrobe

Wee Wardrobe fills the needs of teen parents participating in the Teen Parent Connections program of the County of Sonoma Department of Health Services.  This program provides baby layettes, nursing and baby supplies, clothing and Christmas gifts to participating families.

Scholarship

Scholarship provides financial assistance to eligible teen mothers/parents at Santa Rosa Junior College and/or Sonoma State University.

Safe Haven

Safe Haven serves women in recovery from addiction at the Women’s Recovery Services.  The women are provided with books required by the program to assist in their recovery.
