ReSupply, a Veteran-founded organization, began on a military base in Georgia as a way for military families to donate gently used goods to nonprofit thrift stores when faced with quick relocations. The concept has expanded to include offering this service to the general population. ReSupply’s fleet is led by former Special Forces Logisticians who have joined the team to continue to serve and support charities across the country. Now, Assistance League of the Bay Area Resale Shop donors may go to the website – https://www.assistanceleague.org/bay-area/resale-shop-2/ – and click on the floating button labeled ‘Donation Pickup’ and be redirected to ReSupply’s page specific to the organization. There are several options for a pickup and there is a fee associated with it, paid to ReSupply. As Assistance League volunteers are not equipped to transport donations and often the valued donors are not able to make deliveries to the shop location, ReSupply offers an option that if utilized, will allow supporters to contribute larger items to the shop inventory.
