Assistance League of Albuquerque was the winner in 5 categories in the Journal’s Readers’ Choice contest:
“Lowest prices in town for a smashing selection of vintage and quality pieces. The (mostly women’s) clothing is consignment-level from top notch brands. A smaller shop, it’s clean and neat, with a super friendly staff and convenient parking. You’ll find housewares and decor, too. Everything is good quality and in great shape.”
Assistance League of Albuquerque began in 1959 as the Service League of Albuquerque with 23 members. We’re now staffed by our more than 300 member volunteers who donate more than 80,000 hours of service each year bringing philanthropic services to Albuquerque and our surrounding communities.
The Thrift Shop and our Shop on the Corner (next door) are the primary ongoing fundraisers for our philanthropic programs. All items sold are donated by the community. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) we are delighted that 75% – 80% of our revenue is returned to the community each year through our programs.
