The Sharing committee distributes to other nonprofit organizations the donated items that cannot be sold in the Thrift Shop. Usually, these are clothing and household items, but may also include books, eyeglasses, children’s furniture, toys, and religious and personal items. Additionally, $40 vouchers are provided to nonprofit organizations and agencies to give to their clients who can then shop for clothing and other items in the ALA Thrift Shop.
