For seven consecutive years Assistance League of Atlanta has participated in the Atlanta Botanical Gardens’ “Scarecrows in the Garden” event. The event takes place throughout the entire month of October (closed on Mondays) so visitors to the Gardens can enjoy the various scarecrow-type exhibits. We are excited to announce that Bee-atrice was awarded third place this year among the non-profit exhibits!!!  The creative team of members made her costume from donations to our thrift store, Attic Treasures, which is why we call her the Thrift Witch.
