Assistance League of the Bay Area was awarded a $15,000 one-time grant from United Way Galveston County Mainland.
The grant is designated for Operation School Bell® and will allow the chapter to continue to provide students who have been identified as economically disadvantaged with clothing and hygiene kits on campuses that are located in Galveston County.
This includes the Clear Creek and Dickinson Independent School Districts and the Mosbacher Academy, with two locations, one on the island and the other in League City.
