On Thursday, February 22, four members of the Operation Support Our Schools Committee traveled to Bay Colony Elementary in Dickinson ISD to offer books to students in the lower grades through Assistance League^®‘s Legacy of Literacy initiative.

Two hundred sixty (260) pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade students selected 404 books.

Not only were the Bay Colony students’ homes impacted by Harvey’s flooding, the school was flooded and has not been repaired.
