Assistance League^® of the Bay Area received a $2,500 grant from the City of Webster towards the Assault Survivor Kits^® philanthropic program.

This program provides clothing and hygiene kits for victims of domestic and sexual assault whose own clothing has been retained for evidentiary purposes. Current distribution partnerships are with the Bay Area Turning Point , Friendswood Police Department, and UTMB Specialty Care Center in Galveston.

295 kits were distributed between June 2017 and May 2018.

This grant will allow the chapter to increase their inventory and serve more clients in need.
