Assistance League^® of the Bay Area is a proud supporter of Communities In Schools – Bay Area through the Operation Support Our Schools philanthropic program.

This year, Communities in Schools-Bay Area, widened their influence to an additional fifteen campuses in the Clear Creek and Dickinson Independent School Districts through a newly-implemented campus cluster program.

Our chapter was thrilled to receive an unexpected donation from the Albemarle Corporation’s Foundation in La Porte. A portion of this donation allowed Operation Support Our Schools to increase their budget and provide support to these additional campuses.

Recently Lorraine Cappel, Operation Support Our Schools Chairman, Sarah Foulds, chapter President, Stephanie Hornung, Communities In Schools-Bay Area CCISD Cluster Coordinator, and Simone Guillory, Albemarle Foundation, went shopping at Sam’s Wholesale Club to gather up nutritional items for those campuses in the CCISD cluster.
