Chapter members Kim Barker, Beverly Braden, Brooks Cima, Kathleen Courville, Charlene Donovan, Jennie Hampton, Lisa Holbrook, and Valerie Piercy attended Assistance League^®‘s 2019 Conference – Connect2019, held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas from September 4 – 7, 2019.

Attendees enjoyed engaging workshops, entertaining keynote speakers, and eventful networking opportunities.
During the annual meeting on Thursday, delegates voted on one small business item. National President Susan Dolan presented a Year-In-Review and challenged the organization to continue evolving. National Treasurer Linda Moeller provided a financial recap. Guest speaker Jackie Pham shared an emotional video and speech regarding the impact Assistance League had on her life when she immigrated as a young child from Vietnam.

A variety of workshops were offered to touch on new ways of recruiting members, the importance of a social media presence, practical fundraising ideas, and a host of other topics relevant to the success of chapters.

The chapter was recognized at the Friday luncheon for achieving a milestone, their 25th birthday.

During the evening, Las Vegas provided ample opportunity to dine and to be entertained.
