Project Snuggle, an independently-managed philanthropic program of Assisteens® of the Bay Area, provides fleece blankets to the youngest residents of the Bay Area Turning Point, a shelter for families who have experienced domestic violence and abuse.
Each month after the membership meeting concludes, a dedicated group of teens creates two to three blankets. Once complete, they are delivered to the administrative offices for distribution at the shelter.
Recently, one of our teens, Richa Shah, made the monthly delivery to Sybil Winters-Little, Operations Director.
