On Thursday, February 13, 2020, Texas City ISD, one of Assistance League® of the Bay Area’s newest partnerships, received the remaining hygiene kits from Operation School Bell® as this philanthropic program, the organization’s largest, has concluded for the 2019-2020 fiscal year.
Additionally, 500 books were donated for students, as a part of the chapter’s participation in Assistance League® ACTION! Week. This event culminates on February 25, in recognition of the National Founder, Anne Banning, and her birthday.
Assistance League representatives were Brooks Cima, President-Elect, Elizabeth Arceneaux, Operation School Bell Chairman, and Sarah Foulds, Operation School Bell Vice Chairman. Texas City ISD’s Rita Baldwin joins them.
