Although National Domestic Violence Awareness month ends on October 31, Assistance League^® of the Bay Area continues to recognize and address these tragedies by providing Assault Survivor Kits^®.

Through partnerships with The Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Inc., Bay Area Turning Point, and UTMB Health, kits containing scrubs, undergarments, and flip flops are given to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence when personal clothing is retained for evidentiary purposes.

Members of the committee recently delivered newly-assembled kits to UTMB in Galveston.
