Assisteens® of the Bay Area is honored and thrilled to have received a $3,000 grant from the Mary Jane Carvel Foundation.
The Mary Jane Carvel Foundation’s mission is to support and help achieve the endeavors of various animal protection organizations to provide the animal support services needed in Houston and the surrounding areas through financial aid and animal cruelty awareness.
As a result of this grant, many animal adoptee families at the League City Pets Alive shelter will be provided an adoption kit, purchased and assembled by the teens who participate in the Cause for Paws philanthropic program.
