Assistance League of the Bay Area’s annual fundraising event, Jazz and Jewels, was a rousing success!
Chairman Sharon Guzzino and Vice Chairman Kathleen Courville, along with a talented committee, created an environment that resonated with sparkle and pizzazz.
The decorations were spectacular and we once again thank and acknowledge the H-E-B El Dorado Store for their donation of floral centerpieces valued at $2500.00.
Our raffle offered exquisite jewelry for our participants. Tremendous thanks go to our local-area and Texas-based businesses – Frank’s & Sons Jewelry, Lewis Jewelers, Karat Creations Jewelry, James Avery Artisan Jewelry, Unique Jewels, The Clotheshorse Boutique, the little pink bag, and Kendra Scott. Six of the jewelers showcased features collections during the event with the help of attendee models.
The Greg Petito Trio played soft background jazz music, Bay Area Houston Ballet and Theatre dancers kicked off the festivities with a rendition of All that Jazz, DJ Mr. G served as emcee, and Ohwhatfun provided a photo booth to ensure mementos of the occasion.
Friends from Assistance League of Houston joined the fun.
