After the February membership meeting, Birthday in Box items were assembled and placed with care into large birthday bags. The bags are delivered to Communities In Schools – Bay Area students who attend League City Elementary and McWhirter Elementary in Clear Creek ISD and KE Little Elementary and San Leon Elementary in Dickinson Independent School District.

CIS Bay Area Student Support Specialists give them to at-risk students, providing all the necessary items to celebrate their birthdays, a small gift, and a handwritten note.

This month a few Assisteens^® who had completed their volunteer tasks jumped in to help finish the assembly.
