Communities In Schools – Bay Area is dedicated to promoting positive character traits among its students. Teachers nominate students who are eager to work towards self-improvement every nine weeks.

And when these students achieve their goals, it’s time to celebrate!

Recently, at Bay Colony Elementary School, the CIS-Bay Area Student Support Specialist, Mrs. Von Dran, partnered with Assistance League of the Bay Area to throw a party for the nominated students. The party was filled with dancing, games, and cookies for the students to enjoy.

Charlene Donovan, the Campus Liaison through the chapter’s Operation Support Our Schools philanthropic program, was delighted to provide this celebration for these star students!
