Bay Area Houston Alumnae Chapter – Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Receives the H.O.P.E. Award from Assistance League of the Bay Area

The H.O.P.E. Award is given to a nonmember individual, a company, or a group for significant contribution to the chapter.

The Bay Area Houston Alumnae Chapter-Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is known for its outstanding service.

As a purpose-driven nonprofit organization, its mission centers around providing assistance and support through established programs in local communities. The organization’s tireless efforts benefit the communities of Clear Lake, Friendswood, Pearland, Pasadena, Seabrook, and Webster.

Specifically supporting Assistance League® of the Bay Area, they have made prom dreams come true by providing jewelry, shoes, and special dresses.

Additionally, their donations of undergarments for the Assault Survivor Kits® program empower children and adults who have been victimized by sexual assault or domestic abuse.

The chapter also contributes time and talent to an award-winning resale shop, raising crucial funds for Assistance League philanthropy programs.

The impact of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Bay Area Houston Chapter extends far and wide, and they are deserving of the H(eroes) O(f) P(ositive) E(ndeavors) Award.
