Chapter’s Resource Development Initiatives Earned $590,000 to Support Philanthropic Programs

Thrilled with the unexpected successes of fundraising efforts, Assistance League® of the Bay Area can state 2023-2024 was a banner year!

The Annual Fundraising Event team hosted Just a Pretty Table: An Ode to Joy. Over 340 attendees experienced the decorative talents of members and local area designers amidst 35-themed tables, reflected on a rich 30-year history, contributed to the fundraising initiatives allowing the chapter its continued growth, and recognized an individual who spearheaded the original event.

Assist-A-Child cards reported close to $1,500 in sales.

The award-winning Resale Shop continued its modified hours and exceeded all previous sales records. Continuing the popular Tuesday Treasures and technology enhancement translated into elevated service to customers and donors.

The Grants and Foundations Committee received over $150,000.

These successes enabled the chapter to thrive financially, accruing $590,000 in resource development initiatives that are returned to the community through the chapter’s philanthropic programs.
