Nineteen Assisteens^® joined chapter members on Sunday, August 18th, for their collaborative project, Snack Attack Packs, where 1000 packages were assembled for delivery to three school districts. Each package contains a microwaveable meal, drink, and sweet and salty snack.

Deer Park ISD, La Porte ISD, and Texas City ISD employees distribute them to students facing food insecurity or insufficiency who need a nutritional boost outside school hours.

Assemblies occur monthly from August through May each year.
