Assisteens^® of the Bay Area’s Basic Kneads philanthropic program, addresses food insufficiency and scarcity, a growing community concern.

Aspects of this program include volunteering with with other nonprofits that serve those who need a nutritional boost and donating to pantries that provide this option.

Benefactors are the Clear Lake Food Pantry and Interfaith Caring Ministries.

Additionally, Assisteens volunteer at the monthly collaboration between Saint Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church and the Galveston County Food Bank.
