Assisteens® hosted their only fundraiser, Pictures with Santa, on Sunday, December 15th.

Assisteens selected their favorite cookie recipes for the event from the chapter’s award-winning cookbooks, Settings on the Dock of the Bay and Settings Sunrise to Sunset. They purchased the ingredients, baked the cookies, packaged them, and delivered them to the facility.

The event was held at St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church from noon to 2:00 p.m. Families brought their children to take photos with Santa Claus. Oh, What Fun provided the balloon art backdrop and a photo booth to add to the festive atmosphere. Assisteens assisted with set-up, crowd control, sweet treat distribution, and clean-up.

The experience was incredibly satisfying for everyone involved.
