In support of Sexual Assault Awareness Month and our partnerships with local area shelters, police and constable departments, and hospitals, committee members delivered kits to UTMB Health Galveston to Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Nellie Lowen.

Ms. Lowen gave a tour of the forensic exam rooms and accepted the assembled kits with gratitude. These kits contain clothing, undergarments, and flip-flops, allowing victims to depart with the necessary items, as original clothing is retained for evidentiary purposes.
