The chapter salutes their all-teen auxiliary, Assisteens® of the Bay Area, for their contributions to the chapter’s service to the community.
As a joint project with adult chapter members, the Snack Attack Pack initiative assembled 9,000 microwaveable meals for delivery to Deer Park ISD, La Porte ISD, and Texas City ISD. Thirty-five (35) Assisteens donated time or supplies to the @Clear Lake Food Pantry and Interfaith Caring Ministries or collaborated with Saint Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church and the Galveston County Food Bank. All of these activities address food insufficiency through the Basic Kneads philanthropic program.
