Project Snuggle, an independently managed philanthropic program of Assisteens^® of the Bay Area, provides fleece blankets to the youngest residents of the Bay Area Turning Point and The Bridge Over Troubled Waters. These shelters serve families who have experienced domestic violence and abuse.

A dedicated group of teens creates two to three blankets after each monthly membership meeting. Once completed, the blankets are delivered to the administrative offices for distribution at the shelters.

The auxiliary is grateful for the opportunity to support these shelters and recognizes the importance of helping children who have left their homes under traumatic circumstances feel safe and secure.
