Assistance League of the Bay Area recently participated in two district events that allowed them to gift new and returning teachers in Clear Creek and Dickinson Independent School Districts with the chapter’s second published cookbook, Settings From Sunrise to Sunset. This gift commemorates the 10th anniversary of the cookbook’s first printing.
On August 10th, at the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce’s New Teachers’ Luncheon, CCISD’s newest 350 educators were welcomed to the community and the classroom with this beautiful publication, full of scrumptious recipes, interesting facts about the Bay Area, and fabulous photographs taken by member Pam Culpepper, sole proprietor of J. Pamela Photography.
A few days later on August 16th, members hosted a booth at the Dickinson ISD Vendor Fair sponsored by the Dickinson Education Foundation. Over 720 books were presented to new and returning teachers.
