Assistance League^® of the Bay Area was awarded $8,000 at the Lunar Rendezvous Festival (LRF) Distribution of Funds event on Friday, December 8.

There is a long history of mutual support between the festival and the chapter, including several individuals who have served as General Chairman and as members of the Advisory Board and are or have been members of Assistance League of the Bay Area.

The LRF was honored with the HOPE (Heroes for Positive Endeavors) Award at the league’s 2015 Annual Fundraising Event held at Space Center Houston.

Since 2005, the festival has gifted Assistance League of the Bay Area $31,600.
