The chapter’s largest philanthropic program, Operation School Bell^®, continued to honor accommodations for its retail establishments, school districts, and students by a shopping style modification during the 2021-2022 year.

Personal shoppers outfitted 2,155 students across eight school districts including Clear Creek ISD, Deer Park ISD, Dickinson ISD, Friendswood ISD, Galveston ISD, La Porte ISD, Texas City ISD, and the charter schools of Odyssey Academy for a total of $269,334 spent.

Some students suffered emergency situations that resulted in the loss of their clothing and household items. Operation School Bell rallied to these needs and provided clothing, laundry detergent, dishes, and other items needed for daily living.

The organization looks forward to a new partnership with Santa Fe ISD in the upcoming year.
