It’s our lucky thirteen!

On May 19, 2023, Assistance League^® of the Bay Area’s award-winning Resale Shop celebrated the day its doors opened on May 19, 2010, at our present location, 100 E. Nasa Parkway.

Many months of planning were necessary to guarantee its success.

The team of John Nugent, Charles Smitherman, and the late Stuart Williams found the perfect spot, a boutique-style space nestled between Highway Three and FM 270, the gateway to the City of Webster.

Jill Smitherman, tapped to be the Resale Shop Chair, assembled a team of individuals who brought various talents to the planning table, including merchandising, designing, financing, and marketing, to ensure a store filled with appealing products.

The shop has been blessed with energetic and effective chairs, a robust volunteer staff, dedicated customers, and loyal donors.

Our revenues have consistently increased, allowing us to meet our mission and vision of transforming the lives of children and adults and strengthening the community.

We look forward to many more years of service!
