Operation School Bell^®, the chapter’s largest philanthropic program, serves nine school districts in the surrounding Houston-Galveston Bay Area.

Each district determines the appropriate dress code that best meets the needs of its student population.

Students in the Galveston Independent School District receive jackets from us as a part of the allocated allowance because purchases are limited at the store. Each campus has a unique color requirement as a component of the dress code for their shirts. As a result, the overall store’s purchases are limited.

That allows substituting the shirts they would have purchased with the jackets.

Students at one of the district’s middle schools are all smiles with their new outerwear garments!
