Assistance League of Bellingham’s philanthropic program, OPERATION SCHOOL BELL®, clothed 2276 Whatcom County students in October. Nine clothing times were offered to qualifying K-12 students in the eight school districts.

Students were registered at each school district by the School Coordinators to shop at the Target Store at the Bellis Fair Mall at specific times to pick out $100 of clothing of their choice.

Members of Assistance League of Bellingham were at the store to check families in, give any needed information and then to assist at check out at the registers.  Members were rewarded with the happy smiles of the students and parents!
