Our Assistance League Care Center Support Committee is writing cards to Care Center residents in Whatcom County who need a little moral support during this lonely time.
We are writing to tell them that they are not forgotten and we value them and all the work that they have done during their lives to build this community.
At this point we can not deliver them but as soon as the stay at home order is lifted we will deliver the batches of letters and cards.
We know that it is very very difficult for residents to adjust to communal life in the best of times when they are able to have visitors. We are needed to help support those very vulnerable elders.
