In recognition of our founder Anne Banning, Assistance League of Bellingham had another successful sock drive within our chapter. Member volunteers collected 853 pairs of socks in all sizes for the students in all eight Whatcom county schools and Lummi Nation.
Each coordinator from the school came to our Thrift & Gift Shop to pick up a bag containing over 100 socks. Everyone is smiling knowing that there will be many happy students with warm feet very soon!
