On December 23rd, Assistance League member volunteers Mary Schneider, Nanci Zander and Eileen Malloy delivered 132 new books to Whatcom Strong coordinator Ashley Butenschoen at the Lynden Fairgrounds staging center for flood victims. $500 was used from the Books and Beyond budget to bring joy to some children that have had a difficult holiday season.

Whatcom Strong was very pleased to receive our gifts to be used at their post-Christmas party for 400 children ages K-18 years.
