Assistance League of Bend would like to thank Costco in Bend for inviting us to participate in their employee giving campaign. Costco hosted a BBQ for their employees on October 4th and invited local nonprofit organizations to present information on how their organization serves the community. Once the employees learned about the nonprofits they were able to go to a bank of computers and choose which nonprofits to support. Costco has committed to a 60% match for these donations throughout the next year. It was a wonderful event and we appreciate the opportunity to share our story. We are immensely grateful for Costco’s generosity and their commitment to helping our neighbors in need.
