During Assistance League of Bend’s 2025 Operation School Bell^® spring campaign, 500 students in need were invited to shop for new school clothes on designated shopping days at local Walmart stores. As the leading provider of new school clothes in Deschutes County, Assistance League continues to make a significant impact on students’ lives by ensuring they have clothes that fit and that make them feel good about themselves. This initiative not only promotes self-esteem, but also contributes to creating a more inclusive and supportive learning environment. Through the support of community members and local businesses, Assistance League of Bend continues to be a beacon of hope for students, providing the tools they need to succeed both in and outside of the classroom.
