Tim and Kathy Garling, owners of Jackalope Grill Restaurant in Bend were surprised to be the recipients of national’s Operation School Bell® Award at Assistance League of Bend’s November 16, 2016 gala “Boots, Buckles & Bling.” The Garlings have been consistent supporters and donors for the chapter’s Operation School Bell program. Each year they donate a very popular private brunch for 20 persons to be auctioned at the chapter’s holiday gala raising thousands of dollars annually. In addition Chef Tim prepares and serves samples of his signature dishes for guests who tour the chapter’s annual Kitchen Kaleidoscope tour of homes. His presence and his samples create added value to the event.
