Michael A. Pollack, well-known philanthropist in the Phoenix Metro area, was awarded the National Operation School Bell® Award by Assistance League of East Valley. His generosity to the chapter enabled them to move into a beautiful, larger Thrift Shop facility. The proceeds from the larger shop have expanded Assistance League’s Operation School Bell program serving more children in need. He has helped the chapter in many other ways and the results go back to aiding children. The presentation of the award took place during the Thrift Shop’s Grand Opening on October 21, 2016.
