Saddleback Valley – Honors Assisteens

The Assisteens Auxiliary of the Assistance League of Saddleback Valley has honored eight graduating seniors during its annual Senior Recognition Dinner at The Westin in Costa Mesa. The seniors were honored for their service to the community and contributions to Assisteens. They are: Trabuco Canyon resident Chelsea Carey, Rancho Santa Margarita resident Amanda Carpenter, Coto de Caza resident Jenna DePillo and Trabuco Canyon resident Paige Krieger – all of Santa Margarita Catholic High School. Othere include Aliso Viejo twins Sarah and Carolyn Makepeace of Laguna Hills High School. The Makepeace sisters were also the recipients of The Spirit of Assisteens award, given to seniors who exemplify volunteerism and a good role model to other Assisteens. Coto de Caza resident Claire Quinn of J Serra Catholic High School and Aliso Viejo resident Emily Schoen of Laguna Hills High School also captured The Spirit of Assisteens award.
