A totally surprised Peggy Hays, Department of Social and Health Services, received the Operation School Bell® Award from Assistance League of Southwest Washington on December 5, 2016, at the chapter’s annual Sleigh Bell Benefit. Since 2010 Ms. Hays has served as liaison between DSHS and the chapter helping the chapter clothe 10- to 18-year-olds entering foster care.
