Inland North County – Presents National Operation School Bell Award to Kohl’s San Marcos Store

Kristen Britt, Assistant Manager, and Kohl’s San Marcos store received the Operation School Bell Award at Assistance League of Inland North County’s May 25, 2016, meeting. Kristen worked with the chapter to set up retail shopping for clothing children in need in their community, making it possible for the chapter to clothe over 1500 students each year in 14 shopping dates. She ordered more merchandise to meet the specific needs of the students, set up special sign-in areas, volunteered hours of her time off to supervise the check out lines. Her passion for helping families in need spread to her staff who also go out of their way to make this way of clothing students fun for all.
