Saylor Insurance Agency, a local insurance firm that provides coverage to hundreds of families and businesses throughout the Los Angeles area, is launching a cooperative charity drive with the Assistance League of Long Beach in an effort to provide appropriate school uniforms for at-risk children attending nearby schools.
While the school uniform policy has been widely hailed as a success in the local school district, some families face financial hardships and are unable to provide new clothing for youngsters. The Assistance League of Long Beach is dedicated to ensuring that all children have access to school-appropriate clothing.
“Making sure our kids are properly prepared to benefit from their educational opportunities is a must, and that’s why this charity drive is so important,” says Lisa Saul, owner of Saylor Insurance Agency.
Working from an extensive list of personal and professional contacts, Saul and her team are reaching out to fellow community members and business leaders via social media exposure and an email awareness campaign to spread the word about the charity effort. Saylor Insurance will also include a full page feature of the charity drive in the newest edition of their monthly online publication “Our Hometown”.
