Assistance League of Salt Lake City has found itself in the enviable position of possessing funds which could provide resources to emerging needs in the community. After identifying a group that we believed was underserved, high school students, we chose to assist college bound students from a local alternative high school. Laptop computers were provided by Assistance League as an incentive for successfully participating in a bridge class which prepares students for the transition from high school to college.
