Operation School Bell®
Elementary school students are brought to Assistance League to select brand new clothing. They all leave with a huge bag of new clothes and wide grins.
Teen Retail
Teen Retail provides an opportunity for middle school, junior high and high school students in need to purchase new school clothing from a local department store. This allows students a wide variety of choices and styles.
Operation School Supplies
School supplies are provided to the Ada County schools so that those students with the greatest need will be equipped to start the school year.
Project Hearing
Hearing aids are provided to eligible Ada and Canyon County residents. Scholarships are awarded to hard of hearing students graduating from Ada County high schools.
Baby Bundles
Newborn clothing and supplies are distributed to families in need in local hospitals. Every new baby deserves to go home in a new outfit, with diapers and other essentials!
Cinderella’s Closet
Ada County high school students can purchase prom dresses for a nominal fee.
History in the Bown House
Step back in time and tour this 1879 restored home. Period dressed volunteers teach real-life, interactive history lessons on how our forefathers lived.
Empowering Youth
Basic household items and a handmade quilt are given to youth aging out of foster care.
HY Hope
Hygiene and household items, along with food and gas vouchers are offered to federally designated Homeless Unaccompanied Youth in Ada County.
High School Closets
Clothing and hygiene items distributed to Ada County high schools that request it. School social workers offer items to students in emergency situations.
CARES Closet
Serves at-risk children from birth through age 18 years and is accessible 24X7 as needed by St. Luke’s CARES personnel and local law enforcement.
