Laura Gallagher and Peggy Thomas were presented a check from Publix Super Markets Charities for $2,500 which will support Operation Check Hunger. Presenting the check were Publix CEO, Ed Crenshaw, and Director of Publix Super Markets Charities, Kelly Williams-Puccio. These two executives flew from Florida to present checks to their selected non-profits in Charlotte that are fighting hunger.
