Assistance League of Charlotte (ALC), in partnership with Habitat for Humanity, kicked off its newest program extension in early December. New homeowner Eboni Marshall and her three children ages 11, 6 and 4 and others attended the home dedication and received the key to her new residence.  ALC is providing $500 of kitchen supplies and necessities for the kitchen as part of our Heart of the Home program.  This is the first of 19 homes that we are sponsoring through our philanthropic program Operation Check Hunger. Most homes in the neighborhood off Statesville Road are expected to be completed before the end of May, 2020.
