Assistance League of Charlotte hosted an ACTION! Week drive-through mobile pantry at Tuckaseegee Elementary School. Enhanced COVID safety precautions with limited contact are allowing us to continue to sponsor and operate repeat mobile pantries at three high-need schools during the year. These are one-night events where families receive boxes of non-perishables, fresh produce, bread, meat and dairy. Families typically leave with 40-50 pounds of food. Member volunteers assist at this ongoing effort to fight hunger by providing food for up to 200 participating school families at each event. #ACTIONWeek2021
