Our Sunshine Boxes Program supplements the weekend food needs of students who have been identified by the school district. These students are in need of food assistance over the weekends.

500 boxes are delivered to Pittsburg School District each month. Every Sunshine Box contain healthy shelf-stable foods such as macaroni and cheese, canned spaghetti, chili, fruit, chicken, pouched tuna, oatmeal packets and soup mix.  The value of each box is approximately $32.00.
