Through Reading and More, our literacy program, we recently donated Spanish Classroom Library sets to Florence Elementary School. This donation aims to enrich the learning journey of Kindergarten through 4th-grade students.
Kristin Butler, Florence Elementary School’s Reading Coordinator, highlighted the invaluable benefits of our donation. In classrooms, teachers often rely on English books and real-time translation to support Spanish-speaking students’ literacy. Our classroom sets enable educators to seamlessly navigate reading materials, significantly enhancing the ease and joy of reading for these young learners.
Central to our initiative is the belief that access to diverse, bilingual books cultivates an inclusive learning environment, empowering students on their academic path. We take pride in contributing to the growth of literacy skills and the joy of reading at Florence ISD.
