October 22nd – Make a Difference Day – a National day of community service.

On October 22nd millions across the Nation participated in one of the largest national days for community service.  Assistance League of Greater Placer’s goal was to collect and donate 400 books to the local Boys and Girls Club in Placer County.  This was the fifth year for Assistance League of Greater Placer to participate in the Make a Difference Day. Last year, in the month of October, over 449 books were collected and delivered to the Boys and Girls Club of Placer County. A HUGE thank you to our donors.  We were able to donate 300 children’s books this year.  Thank you for your generosity.
